Rob Newton The Profile

Rob, now a healthy 40 something, attends Trinity Methodist Church, Loughborough, UK. He is an accredited Worship Leader and is currently undertaking training to become a Methodist Local Preacher.

Rob has been writing songs for many years though this is his first all non-secular album. His inspiration is mostly drawn from observation of life in all it's fullness, warts'n'all and mixed with the enlightenment of scripture.

The AD2000 Praise and Worship Band keeps Rob very busy as they are out and about playing in services and other events. With a young family, his studies and the band it's amazing he finds time to write as well.

But find time to write he has and found time to share his writing. Most of these songs have been played by AD2000 Praise and Worship Band either in a worship setting or at a performance of some sort.

A few of the songs have also been entered into the Charnwood Arts and Crafts Festival over the years where 'There is You, Lord' won 1st Prize, 'The Waiting is over' 3rd and 'Spirit Spirit' recieved a highly commended.
